Overview
“Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish, feed him for a lifetime.”
At YDisciple, we are committed to giving you the highest quality Catholic content to help foster fruitful conversations in small groups with teens. But we neither are nor want to be the be-all-end-all when it comes to catechetical content. We want Catholic ministry leaders to bring together their knowledge of the faith and of their unique communities to create customized content.
That’s why we have invited respected ministry leader Christopher Wesley, founder of Marathon Youth Ministry and author of the YDisciple collection Seasons, to teach us how to create your own custom curriculum. Whether you are a ministry veteran wanting to sharpen your skills or you’ve never attempted to create your own content before, there will be something for you here.
In this day-long workshop you will learn how to…
- Discern your teens’ needs
- Create a cohesive vision for your content
- Adapt existing content from an array of publishers to serve your teens
- Write and ask great questions
- Balance human, pastoral, spiritual, and intellectual formation
- And more!
$20/person
Lunch and light refreshments included.
This event will be filmed and later made available on YDisciple.tv. By attending this event, you agree to be a part of a live studio audience.
